GCI Financial Ltd communique que l'IFSC a été informé le 25 Janvier 2010 (voir texte original ci-dessous) que GCI a décidé de ne pas renouveler sa Licence auprès de l'IFSC.
Il est de notre intention d’être réglementé en Europe, où un pourcentage important de notre clientèle est basé. Comme d'habitude, GCI maintient le plus haut degré d'intégrité et maintient l’assurance des fonds des clients (page www.gcitrading.com/french/funds pour plus de détails).

Il n'y aura aucun changement pour les clients au niveau des conditions de trading ou de la conformité des comptes, et GCI continuera à respecter les normes requises par l’IFSC.

We are writing to advise you of our intention to not apply for renewal of its IFSC license and to cease operations in Belize. (...)
In our efforts to grow the business, we will be pursuing regulatory status in Europe, where the majority of our client base is located. We therefore feel that additional regulation and presence in Belize would be redundant.
